Or, rather, listening to them, sometimes. It can be cute to build with them, or watch the toddler play. But there's something mind-numbing about listening to my oldest: "Mommy, look, two little girls! Look, here's their mommy! Look, two little girls are going swimming! Look, there's a shark! Look, the shark is going to eat the girls. Look, the girls are getting out of the pool. Look, the shark is dead." Look, look, look. I just want to say, "Can't you play without needing me to acknowledge every single second of what you do? Horrible mommy, I know.
